Privacy policy
Version of 24 October 2026. See also the terms of use.
Who we are
The people who run Meme Street decide how your data is used. Contact: memestreet.game@gmail.com.
What we keep
- Your account: your trader name, your password (only as a salted hash, so nobody can read it, us included) and your date of birth.
- Your email address, if you give one: to send you codes, password resets and receipts.
- Your play: trades, orders, balances, chart settings and drawings, quest and challenge progress, chat messages and the choices you make in the game.
- Purchases: what you bought, the price, when, and the payment provider's reference. Card details go only to the payment provider.
- Connections: we don't store your IP address with your account, only a salted tag made from it, so we can limit sign-ups and spot several accounts on one connection. Our web server's logs hold IP addresses for a short time to keep the site running and safe.
Your browser keeps your login token and your own settings (watchlist, chart drawings, layout) in its local storage. There are no advertising cookies, no tracking and no analytics.
What other players can see
- Your name, rank and returns on the leaderboards, which anyone visiting the site can see.
- Your chat messages.
- Your profile: if you make it public, your returns and what you held a few minutes ago, as percentages of your account; if not, only your name, medals and achievements.
Who else handles it
- Our hosting company (Hetzner, in the EU), where the game's server and its backups are.
- Our payment provider, when you buy something.
- Our email provider, when we send you an email.
We don't sell your data and we don't share it with advertisers.
Why we use it
To run the game you signed up for, to keep it fair and safe (sign-up limits, moderation, stopping abuse), and to keep the purchase records the law requires.
How long we keep it
Account and game data for as long as the account exists. Purchase records for as long as tax law requires, usually several years. Backups are replaced over a few weeks, so deleted data leaves them within that time.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account. Email memestreet.game@gmail.com from the address on your account, or tell us your trader name. If you're unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the data protection authority where you live.
Children
You must be 13 or older to make an account. We ask for your date of birth to check this.
Changes
If we change this policy we'll post the new version here with a new date and tell players in the game.
